CBA is close to its clients’ business and pursues solutions
for society based on aluminum.

Within CBA’s ESG strategy, recycling is a pillar underpinning both our administrative practices and our business operations.

Metalex is a dedicated recycling facility that produces billets from aluminum scrap and ingots. Located in Araçariguama (SP), the facility was expanded in the year from a production capacity of 75,000 metric tons per year to 90,000 metric tons, and is currently installing a complete scrap separation and processing line.

In January 2022 CBA acquired 80% of Alux do Brasil, one of Brazil’s top producers of secondary aluminum.

Located in Nova Odessa (SP), Alux has the capacity to produce 46 thousand metric tons of aluminum a year and will expand our recycled aluminum capacity.

July 2021: Was when CBA concluded its listing on B3 under the symbol CBAV3.

Better governance standards led it to raise approximately R$ 700 million in the primary offering.

The offering included 62.5 million shares of Votorantim, the company’s controlling shareholder, and more than 62.5 million new shares.

In April 2022 CBA also announced that the share price had been set at R$ 19.00 under the second public distribution offering with restricted placement efforts for company shares and shares owned by its parent company, Votorantim.
